O-bummer

I'm getting close to declaring that the United States Supreme Leader is a one-term president. Not yet ready to say it but I'm getting close. I think this emperor is definitely getting undressed...no homo.

Twitter

Last week, as i watched this Iran fiasco develop, i found a new respect for Twitter. "To be frank" (I love that line from "Fresh Prince"), i have not given Twitter the light of day. 1) They pretty much make no profit, which i think is pretty stupid, with the amount of money put into making the venture. 2)I find it borderline stalkerish 3)I'm just not that into other people's business and i'm sure as heck not into other people being in my business.
But with the Iran 'crisis' (as Obummer likes to say), Twitter has become as a source of communication between the people of Iran, who have been blacked out, and the rest of the world that seek to find the truth of the situation in Iran. Because of this, I have had to swallow a not so small ego and join Twitter. I kicked my Twitter hating to the side and I've had my own version of Hope N Change. i've been following the Iran updates on my phone. i've downloaded the application to my phone and it's really easy to use. I don't think i've put a status yet. Anyway, I'm sure the folks over at Twitter Inc, i think that's what its called, would be very proud of themselves at this time. And they deserve to be. I'm sure sooner or later they'll give an IPO a shot or just sell the rights to some billionaire. Work hard now, make stupid profit later. I kinda like the strategy.

More "Create or Save"

Today and last couple of days, I've seen a pickup in sensible people calling out how stupid this 'create or save' nonsense is. Bill McGurn from WSJ had a great article about it today, smacking the media for playing along with this phony math. Obama's lapdogs will do whatever their master pleases. Rush also wacked the administration for this so called "saved" jobs number. I've said it before, anybody can make up a number of 'saved' statistics. For example, Katie Couric (who by the way sucks as an anchor and pretty much at life) has the worst rating since they've been rating, lol. She's lost over 2million viewers but in essence she has saved 5million more. Ahh, I love this math. I wish I could use it at the job: Boss, we lost five clients last week but I really saved nine (out of 20) clients. Nonsense.
From McGurn:

"You can measure how many jobs are created between two points in time. But
there is no way to measure how many jobs are saved. Even if things get much,
much worse, the President can say that there would have been 4 million fewer
jobs without the stimulus."

Rush was pretty funny talking about this, going as far as saying that this math is so impossible "maybe even God" wouldn't be able to figure this math out. Heh. Actually He can.

"Create or Save"

Ok, so I'm getting sick of hearing this "save or create" nonsense. I think I've blogged about this before. It's the most ridiculous phrase I have ever heard in my life. And how nobody calls the administration out for this is not only puzzling to me but scary. Nobody to say, "wait a second, how are you going to calculate 'saved' jobs?" Well, the censored media won't ask that because we know the answer to that. You can't calculate it, "we just know". So in other words if unemployment hits 10% this year (which I think it's destined to at least touched that), and say 7million people are out of work, you can say we save 2million. or pick another number...4mil, 5mil. How idiotic is this? So there are 300million Americans right? Ok, so let's say there are 250million unemployed (I know this is way out there but I'm just pointing to how ridiculous this is), you can say 'but but we saved 50million jobs.' What kind of bullcrap is that? I notice the Autocracy, i mean administration, has a math problem but c'mon. Math problem in regards to Obummer saying the less than 2% of Muslims in America makes America one of the largest "Muslim nation" in the world. Simply foolish, just foolish.
I'm out.

Turbo Timmy

I can't get passed the story about Timothy Geithner getting laughed at by Chinese students when he said he guarantees them that their American held assets are safe. LOL Who's the idiot here? Him or his boss? I'll go with option C, both of them. Funny enough, one of the chinese economists said well Timmy, can you like show us the math of this? Like how the heck are you going to pay off a 12 trillion dollars you've racked up in about a year trying to "save" the american economy? Or how speniding trillions of dollars on government healthcare is going to "save" and "reduce" costs. What kind of Orwellian nonsense is this? I have to say, I love the Chinese right now. I don't care what people say, these people are not stupid or close to stupid. If anybody is behaving dumb right now, look at the White House, Treasury, Fed and Congress. But I have to give props to the students at the university laughing at Timmy. I know they're thinking this "genius" cannot even figure out his own taxes on freaking Turbo Tax and he tells us that our T-bills are safe. I think they called bull on that one, anyone with half-a-brain could figure that out. I love it.

On a related note, I love how Ben Benarke wants to tell us that America will have to reduce deficits. Sooooo now you tell us. Ridiculous. NO DUH. After he has printed billions even trillions of dollars, he wants to talk about cutting back. Why the heck didn't you cut back on your printing machine Benny? I do honestly believe that they've figured out America can't pay the debt between what it is now and the coming second round of binge fiscal drinking of the Administration, so they are just going to have to raise taxes BIG TIME. And/or purposely devalue the dollar and screw China and the Sultans. We'll see how that works out, I don't think China will stand for that. Either way, it ain't gonna be pretty.

Can I say...

I am PROUD of Dick Cheney. He's become more of a hero than I ever thought he could be. I've always thought he was a good guy, as much as he was vilified but the dude is not only gutsy but confident. Between him and his daughter Liz, I think they can take on the world. Al Qeada and all. He simply destroyed Obama and his policies, smacked him over the head and try to inject him with some sense. It's so relieving to see somebody do this with boldness. We got whimpy people on the right that are not gutsy enough to call Obama's bluff but no, not Richard Cheney. And for that he gets major accolades. I wish we could clone him and make him a younger so he can take over the [weak]publican party. I hope he keeps it up, as well as his daughter. Obama is simply not used to people challenging him. He's like a little kid that has always got what he wanted and never had to be responsible for his decisions. In contrast, Cheney has definitely been responsible for his actions and so far it looks like it worked out pretty well.

So here's to more of Dick Cheney! Cheers!

Genius President

So the brilliant President comes up with another brilliant idea: kick the auto industry while their on the ground. Oh well, they'll never recover (at least Chrysler and GM for sure). It seems that this guy doesn't have any other instincts but to destroy everything that has made America great. He blabs about how we've been destroying the planet. Yeah, ok. I say put your money where your mouth is. Get rid of all your SUVs, Airforce One, and gas guzzling limo and then lecture us, Professor Obama. Whatis up with this control hunger that these fools have? If I want to drive a SUV, let me drive my SUV. If you wanna drive a silly looking smart car, good for you. If it makes you happy...driving my kind of car sure as heck makes me happy. Now if I run into your idiotic behind on the freeway, don't whine about anything. You chose to drive that wheelchair looking car around. What is the big deal. This idiotic plan is going to be a disaster. Not to add that it's not going to work. America will only be worse off because of this. How about we drill for oil in america, open nuclear factories and develop clean coal. These are proven solutions for energy, instead of killing every kind of business that has made this country great. "Green cars and smart cars" are just not "in" and they never will be. Sorry to have to break it to you.

"The Three Letter Word"- J-O-B-S

Is it just me or what? "Create or save 2million jobs is the most nonsensical thing I've ever heard. I'm wondering why nobody has never asked that. The fools in the media just repeat what the administration says without questioning it. If we lost 30million jobs but at least 5million ppl are still working you can save we saved 2million jobs. I know they're a lot of other smarter people than myself but I'm speechless as in how nobody is picking up how idiotic this is.

Save or create my. . .

Turbo-Tax Timmy

Heh! Can't help but giggle when I see Turbo-tax cheat Timothy Geithner talk about how he's going to crack down on "loop-holes''. LOL It's simply hilarious! I guess he knows the in's and out's of avoiding paying some taxes. So what if you try to pay the least amount of taxes. I'm not proposing cheating, I'm just saying if the code allows you to pay less then why the heck would you pay more? Only a idiot would. We do have a few idiots running around.
Also, I think this is all a sham and if it's not a sham, it's not going to work. It'll have some adverse effect. People will set up shop elsewhere and pay lower taxes there. Silly.

Two Quick thoughts

Two quick thoughts for the day:
-I'm still upset at the power going out last night as '24' was getting good. I'll have to catch it on the internet. I have a feeling I'll be pissed once this episode is over
-Best news I've heard in a while. Arlen Specter is officially becoming a Democrat, as if we already didn't know he was. I love old people, I really do...but why do these politicians feel they can stay in office til they die? Food for thought. But it's about time these losers get their act right. Hopefully he'll grab a couple of other liberals in gop along with himself. Purge on! And maybe one day I would be ok with being identified as a republican. I honestly don't 'mind social moderates, that I'm fine with that's your own business but when people can't agree on free market capitalism/sound economics then by all means Get Out!

Change I Can Believe In!

Tea Party Pictures

Tea Party De-brief

I had a lot fun at the rally yesterday. I'll be posting pictures shortly. Got there about 3:45 (it was supposed to start at 4) and I guess I was a little nervous. For one, it was my first protest and then second, uhhh do I have to say. I don't think i was necessarily nervous, i think i was just more anxious to see the reaction I would get. But the wait didn't last. As I walked up out of the parking garage, I walked right into the line to get into the park (people were signing in). In line, I met a couple who brought their young daughter, probably in middle or high school. I couldn't really tell. We chatted a bit, they loved my t-shirt for one, that was a big convo starter. The guy took pictures of me and we were yappin' it up. Then for some reason, I can't remember, we spoke to the lady behind them and before you know it me and her were yappin' it up. She seemed like a really nice middle aged woman but then I could tell there was something about her. Anyhow, she told me how her kids made her sign and then I said something about being a recent grad and then she asks me where I went. And of course we know, I'm always proud to give that answer. LSU! Her face lit up and gave me the "get out" look. And she yelled, "GEAUX" and of course I said, "TIGERS". It was a party already. You know LSU ppl, we meet each other and we act like we've known each other for years. I love the LSU family, truly amazing. I don't think there's anything like.

The program kicked off with music, pledge of allegiance, bible reading, and prayer. Yes, welcome to Texas, where we love our God and Guns. They had about 10000 people show up, i don't what the actual count is but it was amazing. Lots of speakers. They had conservatives, libertarians, ron paul crowd, young, middle aged, old and very young, fair tax people (I'm definitely a flat tax guy and think fair tax is sort of a joke) but we were all together. American flags everywhere. And there was plenty of Texas spirit, a lot of 10th Amendment and the proposition regarding that in the Texas state house.

I had a good time and I swear a million people took pictures of me. A lot of the older folks asked me if I remember the Carter years. My answer? "Uhhhhh, I really wasn't born until '87 so I've done a lot of reading and the guy was a joke". They loved me! Then again, who doesn't? Just teasing. , It did go a little long but I had to leave early (about 6:30). I teach fifth grade kids at my church on wednesday nights. All in all, this was a great experience that I hope is the beginning of saving America.

Tea Party Time

It's Tea Party Dad. I honestly can't believe I'm going to a protest, but I'm looking forward to it. I'll be having my camera handy and taking some pretty good pictures. It's going to be interesting. Especially because I'll be wearing the Obama/Carter t-shirt. I can't wait to see people's reaction. And if ACORN or moveon is there it'll get even more interesting. "Big, black guy with an anti-obama shirt? He must crazy". Hah! Intelligence knows no skin color. Sorry, I'm not a drone, I like to think for myself and I'll like to keep it that way. Party up!

Tea Party!

I've been getting pretty excited about this Tea Party shindig. Why you may ask? Well, I've always been vocal about my opinions from politics to sports to psychology and economics (duh). But I've never been one to protest about anything, I guess I just kind of thought it wasn't for me. Except this one time few years ago in college when me and a couple of my friends were sort of making fun of this "protest" on campus and I wound up on the evening news, as one of the protesters. Ooops. Yeah that was a big mistake, I'm glad my parents were in a completely different state because I can hear them with their Nigerian accents, "Did I send you to school to protest or to get an education"?
But I digress. I think most conservatives in general just aren't the "protest kind". But this is different because things have just gotten pretty outrageous. So I am very excited about this Wednesday and looking forward to the big Tea Party downtown. I ordered myself a "welcome back Carter Shirt" with BHO's cheesing face smacked on it. I'm sure it'll be nice to see this on a black guy by the way (tongue in cheek). Hopefully it makes it hear in time for Wednesday. Good lord, now that I think about it, I'm going against all my morals! My number one rule with shirts is under any circumstance, NEVER wear someone else's face on you. I'll put in an amendment. I'll be blogging on this before Wednesday. I wish I could take my cousin who's a senior in high school but he won't be able to make it. I'm doing my best to baptize him in common sense in order that he doesn't get brainwashed when he heads to the ivy league in the fall.
Let's go out and demand common sense from the government.

All is not necessarily lost

It makes sense to point out some good around here especially from our genius president since all his other plans are working so far. But i have to say Obama gave a darn good speech friday about the iraq war. he usually gives good speeches that are full of lies but this one, there was little he could lie about. His pride and unnecessary elitsm will not allow him to acknowledge how wrong he was about the surge (publicy say the words "i was wrong"), thank George Bush for having the guts to pull of the surge and stick to his guns (literally) and get the withdrawal agreement together before he left. But he's too good to admit all that. I would take his speech friday for concession. Take what you can get. Also good move pulling out of the hate israel conference...shouldn't have thought about going in the first place. I guess maybe he thought if he "reaches out", they'll "uncleach their fits"...LOL...Good luck with that. Hopefully some more realities are in stall for this genius president of ours.
