History Channel

Lately, i've gotten kind of hooked on History. For part of my senior year in college (last year) i kept on wishing i took a minor in History...too late. But I've been reading on some history, Great Depression, Calvin Coolidge, Hoover, FDR, and American History in general. I've also been doing some readings on some other history including Nigeria but a lot of Hitler, Lenin and Stalin. Some pretty interesting stuff in this area. I was flipping through the channels last night and I ran into a documentary on Hilter and Stalin, i forgot the title but it was really good. And then after they went through a little history on the actual Valkyrie and then went into the setting of the movie with Tom Cruise. Anyhow, i feel that i'm about to get hooked to the History Channel. We'll see how it goes!

Slumdog

Big ups to Slumdog Millionaire. I saw the movie over the weekend...I didn't expect it to be like that (not that i expected it to be bad) but it was really good. I have to say that the Indians did their thing! And then they ran through the oscars which i really didn't watch but that's the word on the street. Big ups to Bollywood!!! Next stop.....Nollywood (nigeria)! I can't wait. lol We'll see.

'Coward'

Seems like the attorney general is the only coward around here. Being that america just elected the first black president who hired the first black attorney general, following two black secretary of state...and newly elected black head of republican party. What a joke. Honestly, i feel sorry for those guilty white liberals who thought voting for Obama will kill the talk that they were racist and that they owed black ppl something. I honestly knew it would only get worst as we've seeing from michelle obama, rev wright, and now eric holder. Basically the 'honest conversation' he wants to have is that whatever he says goes. He along with his black liberal race baiters are the only ones that are cowards and refuse to have a real conversation about race. As a matter in fact, i'm sick of talking about race, that seems to be the only thing liberals want to talk about. I wonder how they don't get sick of obsessing over race, for goodness sake, it's just a bloody skin color...grow up! While the rest of us continue with our lives, al sharpton and the rest of the race baiters will be waiting in line for their retribution checks they continue to collect. Hopefully Newscorp and NY Post don't give in once again or this behavior will never stop!

Best Article I've seen

http://www.theonion.com/content/news/nations_blacks_creeped_out_by_all?utm_source=EMTF_Onion

My favorite part: "I can't even be at a bar anymore if they have the news on," said Chicago native and small business consultant Jarell Brown. "Obama gives a speech on the economy and people act like my team just won the Super Bowl. I didn't even vote for the guy. I'm a Libertarian."

Second favorite part: As of press time, the nation's Arab-Americans have reported no discernible change in all the angry, reflexive scowling.

I love this. By the way, this isn't real but i have experienced some awkward behavior. People automatically think I like the guy b/c i'm black. Couple of days after the election, someone i know (white) said it's a great day right? I was trying to figure out why it was a great day? I had a long day at work and we were just sitting at an event. Ohh, she's one of those typical obama voters and assumed i was one as well. I turned her beam off pretty darn quick by saying, "yeah, i guess it's cool". She seemed hurt. But i did love that article.

Also, regarding the Arab-Americans line, i think the president going by his name (according to Ann Coulter) would help out with that one...think about it B. Hussein Obama. I'm sure we'll have an influx of Hussein babies!

I've been out for a bit but again, I'm back!

Change We Can Believe In

So is this the change we can believe in? Apart from the spending bill, it's becoming unbecoming. So the third nominee with Tax problems. How ridiculous! First we got bill richardson, tim geithner, Daschle, and now that Nancy chick that was supposed to be the chief performance officer. Apparently she wasn't performing too well on her taxes. This whole shabang seems less like hopenchange and more like corruptionNtheft. Between the corruption of nominees and the "spending" bill that intends to steal money from tax payers. What a shame. I can't wait til a tax debate comes up! It's going to be great! You can imagine, "how do you want to raise taxes, when you don't pay them". "Corruption We Can Believe In...Yes We Can"

Can we not politicize the Super Bowl

The game last night actually turned out to be a pretty good one, although it started a little slow. I was rooting for the Steelers and they won!

Can we PLEASE not politicize football!! I mean, it's the super bowl for goodness sake! People are trying to get away from politics and economy woes. First we have to sit and listen to the fawning interview of the president and then we get the owner of the steelers thanking Obama after they won. Wait, did he call a play or two? Or did he guarantee a bailout if the Steelers go broke? C'mon on man! It's the Super Bowl. Let me enjoy my football. One bright spot, Springsten didn't go rouge and rant on about how great America is now with a liberal as president. Thank baby Jesus!
